TikTok introduces Pulse, a new way advertising platform

TikTok continues to break barriers and skyrocket to one of the most popular social media platforms available! In a new announcement, TikTok has revealed that it was changing the platform to make advertising more attractive to brands and businesses by showcasing their content next to the best videos on TikTok.

Say hello to TikTok Pulse, a new contextual advertising solution that ensures brands are placed in the top 4% of all videos on Tiktok. In fact, this will be the first ad solution that involves a revenue share with creators.

TikTok is promoting digital advertising like never before! Your brand can now reach millions of potential customers in a way that has never been seen before.

The features that TikTok Pulse brings to brands and creators are:

• Supercharge brand exposure by appearing next to the most engaging content

• Drive engagement and actions with diverse communities by aligning your content with the latest trending topics and thumb-stopping content

• Feel safe and confident with brand suitability measurements to make sure your content appears next to high-quality, relevant content on TikTok

TikTok prides itself on being an ‘entertainment experience fueled by the imagination of communities’. And whilst this update gives brands new leverage to their advertising, it also ensures that TikTok becomes a ‘brand-safe’ environment for their content.

So if you’ve got a line of ads waiting to be shared with the big wide world of social media, keep an eye out for the launch of TikTok Pulse!

Snap unveils a Cameo partnership to level up your brand advertising through celebs

Now here’s an app that doesn’t get as much limelight as it used to, but Snapchat has just unveiled a huge announcement with Cameo! The two brands are joining forces to offer more advertising options on the Snapchat app. Haven’t heard much about Cameo? Let’s take a look into how this new partnership changes the game for brands across the globe.

Cameo is a video sharing app where an individual such as yourself can request a personalized video from a celebrity! Pretty cool hey. You get access to the talent of over 45,000 people – ranging from actors, athletes, musicians, reality stars, influencers and more.

Cameo launched Cameo For Business in 2020 and gave businesses an opportunity to share their message through some of the world’s most favoured stars. Think Tom Felton sharing a birthday message or Snoop Dogg on a LIVE one-to-one call. Cameo bridges the gap between the world of celebrities and their fans.

And The Snap x Cameo Advertiser Program aims to provide an easier way for marketers to connect with tens of thousands of creators and deploy them for short-form video campaigns on Snapchat.

But that’s not all, Snap announced new updates to Snap Promote that continue to see an increase in content-driven from Snapchat’s content partners. And Snapchat has also said it’s “working to highlight content from a diverse community across its original programming”. The company also makes adjustments to the shopping experience and gives users a more streamlined experience.

Have you been thinking about using Snapchat for your business? Now’s the time to start engaging with your audience with 319 million users active on Snapchat every day!

Meta expands its monetization opportunities for creators

The flavour of the year has been giving more attention to original content, allowing creators the opportunity to share their creative flair through social media. As more videos go viral and every platform encourages the creation of quick-fire videos, Meta also makes a big announcement within the world of Facebook.

The company revealed that they’ll now be paying creators for original Reels content, after recently announcing it was favouring original content, Meta will now pay for it as well. It seems that the opportunities for brands and creators to take their marketing up a notch is at an all-time high and there’s not a moment to wait to start sharing your content!

Meta is increasing Reel monetization and mentions they want to help creators build sustainable businesses by generating revenue outside of just incentives. Plus, they’re introducing a new incentive called “Challenges”, designed to give Facebook Reels creators the opportunity to earn up to $4,000 a month for hitting certain goals.

The company also talks about bridging the gap between Instagram and Facebook Reels, where people can share the same content over the two apps seamlessly. And last but not least, Meta has been testing the ability for creators to earn an ad-revenue share on their crossposted Reels via Overlay ads, as well.

So, it seems that we’ll see a lot more fluidity between Facebook and Instagram, with original content being favoured by creators.
