Tired of posting only ONE photo per Instagram Story?
Maybe you’re on an incredible vacation in Seville, Spain, and you have 1,000+ photos you want to share – but don’t want to create 100s of Stories.
Or you could be gearing up for a product launch and want to show off the different items in your latest jewellery collection.
Whatever your reason, adding multiple photos to your Instagram Story is a great way to add some spice and switch up your usual content.
Ready to learn more? Let’s go!
Tip 1. Use The Layout Tool
The layout tool is one of the best and easiest ways to add multiple photos to your Instagram Story quickly. Choose from six different layout options ranging from two to six photos.
Here’s how to do it:
Step 1: Open Instagram and navigate to your Stories.
Step 2: Tap on the Layout icon on the left-hand side of the screen.
Step 3: Tap the “Change Grid” icon to select your layout type.
Step 4: Tap on your camera roll icon at the bottom left-hand side of the screen and select your photos.
Once you have all your photos, add any last touches like text, Stickers, or a doodle and post.
Tip 2. Copy and Paste a Photo from Your Gallery
Not vibing with any of the grid layouts? Create your own with the copy and paste hack.
It’s a quick and easy way to add multiple photos to your Instagram Story without design constraints.
Step 1: Open your Gallery and select an image
Step 2: Tap on the “Share” icon at the bottom left-hand side of the screen.
Step 3: Select “Copy Photo”.
Step 4: Open Instagram Stories.
A pop-up will appear on the screen with your image and a “Add sticker” button. Tap on it to paste your photo onto the Instagram Story.
If that doesn’t work, tap on the text tool and manually paste the photo.
Repeat the process until you’re happy, and tap publish when you’re ready to share it with your audience.
Tip 3. Try The Photo Sticker
For something different, use the photo sticker tool to add multiple images to your Instagram Story – with different frames!
Here’s how to do it:
Step 1: Open Instagram Stories and create a base image or video.
Step 2: Tap on the “Stickers” icon and scroll down until you use the photo sticker.
Step 3: Select it and choose a photo from your camera roll.
Step 4: Tap on the photo to change the frame and drag it around until you’re happy with the placement.
Rinse and repeat until all your photos are in the Story, and then post it.
