Running a company is challenging and requires business owners to wear many hats – from designing products and services to shipping out orders and running your social media accounts.

With such a hectic schedule and a tonne of work to do, it can be hard to put your best foot forward on social media and constantly come up with new, fresh, and engaging social media posts for your brand.

So, we’ve done the hard work for you and come up with 15 engaging social media ideas for your brand that will have you nailing your social media strategy in no time.

1. Case studies and testimonials

Did you know that 54% of social media users read reviews on their favorite platforms when researching new products and 72% say positive reviews and testimonials increase trust in a business?

With that in mind, case studies and testimonials are a great, fast, and easy way to increase trust between you and your audience. Plus, it can make all the difference when someone is deciding whether or not to use your product or service.

There are plenty of ways to gather testimonials whether that’s through your Instagram DMs, comments, or reviews on your website. You can re-share this on your Instagram Stories or get a little more creative and share testimonials in your branding as social posts and on your website too.

2. BTS of designing your products/services

One of the best ways you can market your brand on social media is by giving your audience a behind-the-scenes (BTS) look at what goes into creating your products and services.

BTS content of your products or services makes your audience feel like they are right there with you and gives them a deeper insight into what actually goes into making your products or services.

Plus, if you’re a small business, BTS insights into your business makes people feel more connected to your brand and that a real person is out there working hard to create the products they’re using.

3. Day in the life vlogs

Much like BTS videos, a day in the life vlog gives your audience a sneak peek into your everyday life.

People are naturally curious, so why not satisfy their curiosity by giving them an insight into what it’s like to be you for a day? On top of that, if you’re looking to be more authentic on social media, then day-in-the-life vlogs can help you show your audience a real glimpse into your life.

But, remember that the trick is to be as real and authentic as possible – just look at Anna Paul as inspiration.

4. Repurpose recent blog posts

If you’re ever low on content for your socials, repurposing your blog posts is a way to add value to your audience without too much effort considering you’ve already done the hard work.

Blog posts are easy to turn into social media content by taking a few key insights from your blogs and summarizing them into a carousel post. Alternatively, you can make Reels and TikTok videos walking people through your key insights and encouraging them to find out more on your blog.

It’s a great way to not only create quick and easy social media content but, drive people to your website too.

5. Turn trending pop culture moments into memes

If you’re looking to seriously boost engagement and reach then incorporating trending pop culture moments into your social media posts is a recipe for success.

Memes are a great way to show off your brand’s personality, and they’re super easy to make. Make sure you’re incorporating your industry niche in your memes to keep them original and fresh.

Plus, it’s a great way to utilize hashtags that will actually work, since people are probably searching for those trending topics anyway. If you’re looking to get inspired, you’ll find trending topics all over Twitter and Instagram.

6. Tap into the power of user-generated content

User-generated content (UGC) can make or break whether a customer decides to make a purchase from your brand. Much like testimonials and case studies provide social proof, UGC can be incredibly influential.

In fact, 93% of marketers say that consumers trust content created by customers far more than content created by brands. And, UGC is a really cost-effective way to build social proof for your audience and increase engagement too.

Plus, it’s really simple and easy to start gathering UGC. You can create branded hashtags asking your audience to tag your brand when they post a picture or video using your products or engaging with services.

7. Answer FAQs in your next Reel or TikTok

Part of finding success on social media is community engagement and management. So, if you’re looking to level up your community engagement while also creating content from it then using Reels and TikTok videos to answer FAQs are great pieces of content.

Not only is this a great way to pump out content but, it makes your audience feel valued by taking the time to make a video answering their question. Plus, chances are other people probably have the same question so you’re answering more than one person’s question.

If you get this question asked quite a lot you can use the Pin feature to pin your Reels video answering the question at the top of your page to make it even easier for people to find out.

8. Offer commentary on industry news

No matter what industry you’re in, there’s always something trending in the industry. And why not talk about it?

Commenting on a piece of industry news or engaging in a topical conversation establishes you as an expert in your industry. You don’t have to be a jack of all trades and comment on everything, but, if there’s something happening in your niche.

This will make your audience see you as an authority figure who knows what they’re talking about. Plus, you’ll be providing value to your audience by sharing your insights and if a topic is trending you’ll be boosting engagement while you’re at it.

9. Show a customer or client transformation

Whether you’re a service-based or product-based brand, the goal is to drive sales. That means you need to show your audience how your products and services provide value and address their pain points.

To persuade potential customers or clients to choose you over your competitors and make a purchase you’ve got to show your products and services in action. And, there’s no better way to do this than through short-form videos.

In fact, 64% of consumers say they are more likely to purchase a product after watching an online video. If you’re a product-based business, film a BTS look at how you’ve transformed your customer’s pain points with your product.

If you’re a service-based business, for example, a social media manager,  create a Reel showing how you’ve transformed your client’s Instagram page. Or if you’re a hairdresser, film a before and after video of a client.
